Jan 12, 2004: Arabeyes Receives Two Major Donations
Arabeyes, through the generosity of many interested in its work-ethic, progress and results, has taken a major step forward in solidifying its long-term existence. Arabeyes is no longer a dilapidated machine sitting in someone's bedroom or basement limping along, but is now a full-fledged rack mountable 1u server (an IBM x305) courtesy of Mr. Khalifa Al-Soulah of Zajil Telecom (at the behest of Mr. Ahmad Al-Rasheedan) that is being hosted in one of Vancouver's most innovative ISPs - Binary Environments.
Arabeyes, its volunteers, workers and up-keepers thank Zajil Telecom and Binary Environments' decision makers and especially Mr. Khalifa Al-Soulah and John Batyka respectively for their confidence boast and for their belief in our abilities and in our drive to attain further results. Special thanks to Mr. Ahmad Al-Rasheedan for getting the ball rolling and for persisting and coming through - you deserve all our accolades. We thank all involved deeply for their donations and their trust in our cause.
